Full Truck Load

One of the services we offer as a road transport agency is full cargo transportation by road. We have partners in Spain and agents both in the EU and in third countries.

Full Truck Load service

In road transportation, full load is considered any cargo that occupies the space of 33 European pallets or 26 American pallets with a maximum weight of 24 tons. The cargo travels in semi-trailers with an interior length of 13.6 meters. In no case can the total weight of the cargo plus the vehicle exceed 40 tons.

  • What's included in the service

    Management and Procedures

In addition to offering door-to-door service nationally and internationally, we can combine full load road transport with maritime or air transport. We handle the necessary documentation both at origin and destination, as well as customs clearance when dealing with third countries.

  • Shipping options

    Palletized Cargo

It is recommended to palletize goods. Palletized and shrink-wrapped goods are always easier and faster to handle, thus streamlining the entire logistics process.

    Non-palletized Cargo

There are goods that cannot be palletized. However, it is recommended that goods are not loose to prevent them from shifting during shipment. Depending on the type of goods, the use of strapping, ratchet straps, wooden boxes, or any other type of material, support, or tool that allows for securing should be employed.

  • Types of cargo

    General Cargo

Commercial shipments of diverse, non-specialized merchandise that do not require temperature control or other specific considerations. It includes a wide variety of products, from packaged foods to manufactured goods. Shipments of this type of merchandise should be packaged in regular-use containers such as boxes, drums, big bags, etc., and finally placed on pallets.

    Dangerous Goods

These are again commercial shipments, but they require specific consideration determined by their ADR classification. In this case, the variety of products is equally broad and can range from lithium batteries to corrosive liquids or toxic gases. These shipments must be accompanied by a safety data sheet and conditioned as indicated by the same sheet.

    Temperature-Controlled Goods

These are commercial shipments of perishable products and are usually classified into two main groups: food and medicines. Both chilled and frozen services are available. This type of shipment must be packaged according to specific regulations and finally placed in boxes on pallets.

Cargo not accepted in full truck load

Among the goods that cannot be transported in full truckload are vehicles, bulk cargo, and personal effects.

Full Truck Load transportation offers shorter transit times compared to Less than Truck Load shipping because, as a general rule, the cargo travels directly from origin to destination without being transshipped.
